equalizer, where to buy?

I'm looking to get a wdh with sway control. Currently have a curt that came with trailer from dealer, with no sway control. I think I've pretty much decided on an equalizer. So, questioN, where is the best website to buy it, I'm having a hard time finding an online seller for equalizer ....

These are wise words. A buddy has the B/O/P and loves it. Seems everybody loves it. Big following on this forum and if I was looking again, I would certainly give it a look.

I got mine from the dealer when I bought the trailer. I had looked at the Blue Ox and liked the combined idea of WD and sway. When I bought the trailer I just said that I wanted a combined hitch and they said to go with the equil I zer and I love it.

I got the part number from manufacturer, searched on Google shopping and found the best price there from ... adventurerv.net. thanks for everyone's input!

In the meantime, I'm read more about the Reese dual cam and am back to considering it instead, although it just seems the may be more adjustments that need to be done each trip with the dual cam .. so I'm going to settle with equalizer.

I found lowest price on my EQ hitch on Amazon and it was shipped from Tweetys. If I recall, it was around 485.00 with free shipping. They weigh about 75 lbs and are shipped in two boxes.

Don't waste your money on the socket from Equal-i-zer. Tractor Supply sells a large socket that fits just fine for a lot less money.

That's where I bought mine. If your order the ball at the same time, they will install it for you.

Otherwise, you'll need to buy the special thin-walled socket. Can't get a wrench on the nut since it's recessed up inside the hitch assembly.

There is no comparison between an add on friction sway control bar over an Equal-i-zer brand hitch.

Adventurerv.net has good prices and is where I bought mine.
