Hi All, I have a Dometic fridge and we are currently plugged into shore power at home packing up for a trip . The fins within the last hour or two are really starting to sweat and drop water below onto the trays and ledges. Now it is humid today so maybe this is the culprit? I just don't recall ever seeing the fridge like this before . Any suggestions? Thank you .
Humid air getting into the fridge is condensing on the fins. Opening and closing the door acts as a bellows sicking cold air out which is being replaced by warmer humid air in the trailer which condenses on the cold cooling find.
Cold surfaces condense moisture...thatโs the reason you have a tray and drain under them. Sounds like youโve had the door open a lot.
