Fridge noise

My son just bought a new TT and is in the get acquainted stages so far. He just had to throw out most of his food from the fridge. He said it makes a gurgling noise most of the time. Is this normal? The freezer seems to be cold enough but not in the lower section. Any idea what to do? He wants to stay for 3 more days.

RV level and fridge level can be different.

Gurgling? Sounds like not level.

If you're sure the camper is level then check the fridge. It could have been installed crooked. The fridge is the most sensitive thing in your camper as far as level goes.

It is on electric, has been plugged in for 6 days now. Leveling was done when he set up while I was there and as close as possible to center. If its off its not much.

"The freezer seems to be cold enough but not in the lower section."

You don't have a thermometer in both the fresh food section and freezer? Hmmm. Seems like basic RV stuff. Do you have a battery operated fan in the fresh food section?

Doesn't sound normal to me. Unless it's on propane, mine is totally silent. On propane, you can hear a faint roar from the burner. How carefully did he level the trailer?
