Hauler using short bed to haul long bed TC?

I have had a bid to move a potential Northern Lite Truck camper from Florida to Minnesota for me. His price seems reasonable, but he is planning to haul the long bed camper on a short bed truck. He says he has done it many times before and it is “safe”, butI have my doubts on safety, and on the pressure of the short bed on the fiberglass basement. Thoughts?

1. Center of gravity front to rear will be too far behind the rear axle causing the front steering to unload

2. The bottom of the camper will not be fully supported and may get damaged

1) How short is his SHORT bed, 6.5' or 5.5'?

2) He may have done this before but with how much bucking/porpoising occurs because the camper weight is way behind his rear axle which results in stressing the heck out of the floor/bottom shell.

3) What about the severe load that the rear tie downs will put on the bottom shell?

4) I sure would not allow my 8' camper to be hauled on a standard (6.5') bed truck much less a short (5.5') bed.
