Help me choose LT Tires

I plan on upgrading my P rated Goodyear tires with LT E rated tires. I have looked at and received quotes on 3 different tire brands. The Michelin LTX MS2 (70K warranty), the General HTS (45K warranty) and the Cooper A/T3 (55K warranty). The Michelin tires are $150 more than the General and Cooper tires which are within a couple of dollars of each other. I know the ride is going to be a lot stiffer than the P rated tires provide but I would like tires that aren't excessively loud while going down the road. Out of these 3 tires, which would you choose?

I asked him to do one thing and he didn't do any of them.

I would avoid Michelin for a while because of all the problems they're having with cracking.
TOYO makes a great tire and is what I'm currently running.

2oldman, my tow vehicle is a 2012 F150 with Ecoboost. It came with Goodyear P rated tires. Not really sure why Ford boasts about the towing abilities and then puts P rated tires on the trucks but they do!

FrankShore, the tire size I have now is 275 65R18 and the Tire place gave me three options I've mentioned.

I have a Nephew that works at a different place that is going to get me prices on Monday but I don't know what brands they carry so I'll have to wait and see.

I had Generals on my RAM from the factory. They were 2/3 worn out at 25K and one front tire developed a trees separation the size of a football. 25K later with the MS2's and the tires look good with 9-10/32" tread left.

Spend the money for quality. I am sure someone will come along and tell you your rims are not rated for 80psi!

Weigh your rig loaded and unloaded, use the weight/inflation chart for the new tires and add 5psi to what the chart says.

You will be running about what you do now maybe a touch more.

Get er done!
