My dealer is closed today, I have called a couple more dealersw, no one can help me..

I need to drain the fresh water holding tank, there is a pipe sticking out of the underbelly by the place where it says " holding tank drain" but I can't find a valve for the life of me.

what the heck am I missing.

I feel I must recap, I took my camper back to the dealer after the last camping trip to have him fix a couple things, I told him it was not winterized as a precautionary measure, he said if it gets cold it was on him to take care of it, so last night I get ready to run the pump to drain the tank as I could not find a hose to drain "what I thought was a fresh tank with 30 gal of water in it " and low and behold pink cam out of the lines..... soooooo as it turns out he was unsure about how cold it was going to get one night and had his boys go on and winterize it, they left off the drain cap ( that is where the confusion came for me ) It also would have helped if someone would have said something about it when I picked it up.

thanks for the help though.

The piece of hose sticking out the bottom has a fitting on it but no cap, yesterday in the rain i crawled around under it with no luck location anything, tonight I will pump it dry with the pump, or drop the underbelly cover and give it a look up in there, I was hoping to skip that last part.

the temps tomorow are going to drop to the mid teens, so tonight the deed will be done one way or another.

We've had trailers where the valve is in the compartment where the tank is located.

Sometimes the tank drain just has a cap on it instead of a valve.

Your drain pipe should be close to where the tank fill is. I had no idea where mine was either, and eventually found it behind the stair step. It was inset up into the bottom just a bit so it would not get snagged.

I only found it by laying on some cardboard and looking around underneath by where I thought the tank was as all my tanks are completely inside protective insulation.

Not that I see, there is this pipe and 2 low point drains at the rear of the trailer with caps on them, the tank is in the front, I can see it when I remove the panel where the pump is.

What you might be looking at is the tank vent. There should also be a line with a valve on it.
