Hey AJP69 - looks like your Kit is in great shape. We owned three - a Kit Sportsmaster and two Kit Companions and enjoyed all three; well built. Didn't have any problems. They used to be made locally here in Nampa, Idaho.

It is pristine, the previous owner kept it in a shed at all times. I have done some preventative maintenance such as re-sealing the windows and we put on a new roof coating just to be safe since it is 32 years old.

This one was made in McPherson, KS so just down the street from here.

Interesting. I guess they had a couple of plants.

First try at this.
Here is my 2009 KZ Spree 318BHS with 2006 Nissan Armada SE/Off Road model which is a great combo IMHO. I added the Titan tow mirrors and recently added LT tires.

doughboy,

He plugs a portable 12 volt air pump into the 12 Volt DC plug to pump up the air bags on the truck.

What he meant was, he's not rich enough to buy an on-board air pump to mount on his truck.

And the first mod I did to it. I installed a 12V DC plug on the front for the air ride on my truck since I'm not rich enough to buy the pump and junk to put on the truck.

That is an awesome idea! I will have to do this one.

I don't get it if the air ride is on the truck and you don
't have a pump then what is the 12volt plug for

Ding ding! You are right sir! I bought a small 12V air pump for my 4wheeler when we are out ridding in case someones tire get a slow leak or something... I wanted to to it on the air ride on the truck but the cord wasn't long enough and I got tired of trying to squeeze the RV close enough to the air pumps at the gas stations cause for some reason everyone I go to seems to only have a 4 foot hose and the pump is right up beside the building... So I mounted up a 12V DC plug on the RV with a in-line fuse and BAM! I now can air up anywhere!
