I was just looking at 5er's, toy haulers, and slide in, sites and they have a sticky for their rig pics. We don't. I just saw that. Is it just me or do we TT guys and gals need a sticky for our rigs. I say yes we do.

Hello everyone! This is my first post, been lurking and learning a lot. Here are a couple photos of our second outing with our new TT, Jayco 26RLS. We stayed at Guntersville State Park in Al this last weekend, it is a very nice park.

Nice... I love my Jayco and just returned from a 1 week trip as well. Ready to get back out there as soon as I can.

Hey Moderator ... sorry about that, still a newbie here.

I've developed and managed many discussion forums in the past. Not familiar with the one you are using but there are generally add-ons or customization that can be implemented that allows for image uploading which then allows administrators to force maximum viewing sizes and files sizes. The thing that strikes me as odd is that even though the size of the image is forced within 640 x 480 does not change the load time of the page at all so I have to ask, are you simply requesting this be done for aesthetics? Just curious. Next time I post a photo I'll ensure I am very mindful of the forum rules.

Cheers.

PS. May I suggest posting the image size rules here: http://www.trailerlife.com/cforum/Index.cfm/fuseaction/register/sup/1.cfm

OK folks - I guess it time once again to state that when posting photos on RV.Net, the MAXIMUM SIZE is 640X480 pixels... I am spending HUGE amounts of time editing photo sizes and copies (quotes) of those photo sizes and it's getting out of hand!!! PLEASE help me out here and adhere to the max photo size of 640X480 before I have to resort to drastic measures like just deleting posts that contain oversize photos as deleting takes far less time than editing...

If you don't know how to re-size your posts, look at the example below of the IMG text necessary to show a photo... Note the "width=640" statement right after the .jpg extension... Adding this text statement (width=640) will automatically re-size your photos to the proper size and maintain the correct proportions between width and height... IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO ADD ANY HEIGHT STATEMENT IN THE IMG TEXT...

Please - 640X480 max photo size...

I just returned from a camping trip and my neighbor was a Vietnam Army Veteran that had a camper very similar. I liked his because he affixed a huge flag pole with the American and POW flags. Cool guy.

vacane,
I like that dual awning setup. too bad it won't work on my trailer. Is that the way it came?

Yes, it came with the dual awnings. They put out a limited edition with them, power stabilizer jacks and power tongue jack. We really could not find another trailer with all the options and the great floor plan. Second door to the bath was must with the kids.

That thing looks HUGE!!! I love it... And the Tow Rig...

Thank you, we love them both. I couldn't be happier with them both. This was my first time towing something this long. I had mostly towed small box or open trailers. You definately have to plan ahead when you are traveling with this. This is nothing new for the experienced campers here, but something that us beginners have be aware of.

I was thinking the same thing. that is about the longest TT I have ever seen... Ground clearance in the back looks a little low so be careful and have fun!

I actually had to cut off the skid plates that my grandfather had welded onto the frame in the back. His pick up sat much lower than the back of my truck. They were the verticle skid plates also. They would make contact all the time. I haven't had any problems since I cut them down though.
