I was just looking at 5er's, toy haulers, and slide in, sites and they have a sticky for their rig pics. We don't. I just saw that. Is it just me or do we TT guys and gals need a sticky for our rigs. I say yes we do.

I tried to upload a 640 x 480 photo and got kicked off as too large. I'm still learning, I guess.

I hope no calls are needed Mike - I swear they told me the titles were clean! ๐Ÿ™‚ Nice looking setup you have there as well.

Consulted the Forum Help and Support and finally got the pic off my wife's blog. I hope I got the sizing correct.

Trying to post for first time and add a pic to boot. Here goes nothing! Our new (to us) '98 Mallard S29 - Queen Bed in front, Bunk Beds in back. Our first step into a travel trailer after years of tent camping. One shake down trip under our belts at local campground and first week long vacation first week of September. We can't wait!

Edit: No image, will try again this evening!

I was able to click on it with my Samsung S4 and see it. Looks just like my brother's Fleetwood and Suburban!

NOW, do I need to call him and the police department?? ๐Ÿ˜„ ๐Ÿ˜„

Very nice.

I don't know how these TT companies get away with using axles that don't even meet the GVWR!!!!

It is very frustrating! The manufacturers calculate the tongue weight and subtract that from the GVWR and then find axles for the balance of the coach's weight. For example my trailer has a GVWR of 7500 pounds, the tongue carries almost 1000 pounds and the coach has two 3500 pound axles. Subtracting the tongue weight the axles carry about 6500 pounds. I think it is ridiculous to cut costs to the degree that the axles and tires are only 'barely able'.

DJ lookin' good. Sadly one of the Al-Ko Axles on my SRT decided last weekend that it was going to drop a wheel. Looks like the weld separated right at the backing plate. Its a clean break, looks like it could be welded right back on. However my friends that do fab work said no, buy a new axle tube with backing plates and swap all my hubs and brakes and everything over to the new one. Now I just need to find one!

Ouch!!! I don't know how these TT companies get away with using axles that don't even meet the GVWR!!!! If I were you at this point I would replace both axles for a higher weight rating!!!

I thought about that, but thats a lot of money with new wheels too...

Doesn't the bunk fold up into a cabinet when not used?? That's the way it is on many ultralight campers.
