How to secure storage area while connected to water?

My city water hook up is inside my front storage area. This means I cannot lock the storage while the hose is connected.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to secure this area?

Does anyone else have this same problem?

It's hard to tell, but there is a video by Grand Design about how many cases of water they can put in the front pass through. At 22 seconds into the video you can see what looks like a control panel with a hatch in the floor on the drivers side of the pass through. My guess is that is where the water hose comes through.
