I am now wondering whether or not I should pull the trigger and follow through on the KZ spree connect 260RKS purchase. I am hearing a lot of things on the Internet about problems with the KZ travel trailers. I cannot afford to make a mistake on a tt purchase. I am concerned as I have read that manufacturers don't honor the warranties and that the KZ is cheaply made.

What are the top brands of TT's

Thank you all!

I will chime in. Extremely happy with our KZ Spree Escape. Entry level, I guess. Glad I got stuck with a nice Bal frame, and we have had no problems. Bought pre Thor buyout, but I am not sure if that will effect the quality of the KZ.

If it makes you feel better, they all are bad quality. The secret is you need to be gentle with them, you need to take care of them and you need to ENJOY them.

Get to know your supporting dealer and you rig, once purchasing.

Most purchases go smoothly and it is a great way to get out there!

Absolutely!

Even the premium priced brands have their detractors including Northwood's Arctic Foxes and Lance products.

Not many of us can. :W As a former KZ Spree owner I'd agree with the previous comment that no manufacturer is immune from building a trailer plagued with problems but anguishing over this isn't going to change it. As one who has owned a few trailers over the years I'd suggest it's much more a matter of luck than anything else that determines whether your particular unit will be relatively problem free or not. Be prepared though to accept the fact that rarely if ever will you get a trailer that has no issues at all and if you're lucky, really lucky, any difficulties you do have will be relatively minor. A lot also depends on your own level of expertise and willingness to understand how the various systems in your trailer are designed to work and what to do when they don't. The less you know, the less you're willing to do yourself the more you're going to have to rely on your dealer so picking the right dealer is essential and should be given far more attention that the particular make of the trailer.

Be sure you thoroughly vet the dealer you purchase from. A poor dealer can make buying even a good RV a very bad experience.

KZ makes a good product. If they had a floor plan we liked, I would consider one.

Go for it!

Something I would like to point out...the brand only matters on the initial purchase...get the features you want and what appeals to you. Remember that you are not only buying your trailer but you are buying the dealer.

A good dealer can go a long way to making your ownership a positive one.

Thanks!

Yup! Almost no one posts about how great their trailer or tow vehicle are, only the dissatisfied.

I cannot speak for the Spree model ,but as far as KZ goes... NOTHING BUT TOP NOTCH response from the factory...

IF they have the floor plan we are looking for , they are and will be at the top of our list when we look for new..

I am not really familiar with KZ brand but I looked it up on u tube and they have a lot of similar things on the u tube models that my Keystone Montana has. be aware that all TT manufactures have entry level TT's and I learned a long time ago NOT to buy one of those.
