I don't want to pay the large fees to store my trailer over the winter. I'm considering buy a cover and keeping it here a home.

One of the guys at the dealership said never to use a cover as it harms the trailer. Any advice on that? I live in Colorado, so I usually get a lot of snow. Seems to me that heavy, consistent snow might do more damage than any cover.

Appreciate any advice.

You posted this in the community feedback section which is for issues with the website. Hopefully the mods will move it to the correct section.

I've had zero issues with covering my campers in the winter, I've been doing it for decades (living in Alaska and Idaho).  The key to covering is getting a good quality cover that fits tightly, loose covers blowing in the wind rub finishes and rip and tear to shreds.  Any loose fabric needs to be gathered in an area and strapped down tightly.

Would you recommend any particular cover or cover manufacturer?

I would have to agree with your dealer in this cast.

All my trailers and motorhome were all stored outside. it allowed using solar panels to charge batteries. I never had a problem storing this way without access to electricity.  I have heard many times over the years about damage from using a cover over an RV.
