We are seriously looking at buying a 31BHPR. It pretty much has everything we are looking for in a TT, the only cons we can think of with it is, it has curtains instead of solid doors for the bedroom and bunkhouse....that's about it.

Maybe because this one is so new, But i'm having a hard time finding any reviews or testimonials about them.

This is our first TT, i've rented a couple times and that makes us realize we want our own, we've been researching for months and have narrowed it down to this one.

Is there anyone out there that has any experience with the Bullet line that can give me their opinions?

Thanks!

I haven't noticed a difference in the noise level between the two slides from the inside or outside.

The motor is on top of each of the slides. If you stand on a stool inside you should be able to see them. Are you sure the noise is coming from the motor?

okay quick question.

is the motor for the front large slide noticeably louder than the rear smaller slide?

i thought that it was because the larger slide is so much bigger, but when i was outside, my wife was retracting the slides and the rear slide is almost silent but the the front slide is loud.

is this standard? or should i have it looked at?

RainbowsEnd, welcome to the Bullet Premier club :B !!!We bought our 2011 28rlpr the end of May.Been out 5 times this year with 3 or 4 more times yet !!! Your going to love your camper. As far as the bed goes, I'm 6' and the bed is just fine. DW says we have regular queen size sheets on the bed. We also have a queen size Memory Foam topper :). Feel free to message me with any questions you might have !!!

Queen Bed question.... In our 28RLPR the queen bed is I think 75". How is that working out for others (especially the men) that have that length bed? I'm not sure what other bullets bed lengths are. DH is just at 6' and we knew the bed length when we bought it. Also, do you use regular sheets or did you find its just easier in the long run to order the shorter made sheets for this camper bed length?

We're a new Bullet Family Member!

DH and I just negotiated the price on a new Premier Bullet 28RLPR. We'll go for the final walk through next week. I've been reading through these forums and anything else I can find on the internet about the Bullet. I think this is one of the more active threads!

I can certainly see why people get so excited when they make a new RV purchase. We can't wait to make memories with the new Bullet. We've had a popup for 15 years and it's simply time to move on. The popup is still in awesome condition and hope it will bless someone else with some good years of fun.

I'll have my questions coming soon! I'll need everything from new sheets to chocks!

what are you guys using for wheel chocks. while i was on the roadtrip, my wife went and got some misc stuff and picked up some of the x-chocks (i think) made by BAL. they don't extend enough for the wide axles. i was wondering what other options we had.

They make an extended X-chock for this size, there is a thread on here somewhere that says where to order them from. I'll try to search for it.

well i kinda stayed in it on the way home. it was a solo mission to fly up there and back. so i drove for 10 and sleep for four, drove another 10 slept for 2 and drove another 10. it was better than sleeping in the tahoe on the way up there, but i didn't put the stabs down and i felt like i was still moving down the highway with the movement.

i really thought that the full body paint was an option i could live without and when it was all by itself i thought it was a beautiful trailer, but after looking at yours again the full body paint is awesome. but like i told my wife, i bought for the beauty on the inside not for other people to enjoy!

i had to readjust my water pump. they installed it right next to the wall and it was loud, i moved it to the center and now it is barely noticeable with the stereo on low.

i also went to turn on the tv for the kiddos to watch tv and there was no power. took about 10 min for me to remember that all the plugs in the back of the trailer are on the gfci in the bathroom. i guess my boy pushed the test button when i wasn't looking.

i was kind of bummed that the dvd player doesn't run to the back tv. anyone attempt to split the dvd outputs and run it to the back tv yet?

Glad to hear everything went well. Did you stay in it at all during the drive home?

BTW, I put a SPAMTOWN, USA bumper sticker on my propane tank cover when I got home and the next day someone stole it. Not the tank cover--just the bumper sticker ๐Ÿ˜ž !

even the wholesalers will throw in a hitch and brake controller:) i got back at 1am on monday with my new 31BHPR. i had to drive 3200 miles round trip to get it, but saved enough for a generator with out paying shipping.

so i was a little nervous going that far to pick up a trailer with my tahoe. i knew the ratings were going to be maxed out and the tahoe is a shorter wheel base vehicle and i was affraid that the tail would wag the dog all the way home.

although i will not tow this trailer with the tahoe after it is loaded, the tahoe pulled it home like a champ. i averaged 19 mpg up there, and 11 mpg coming home. i only did 55mph because the one tank i did 65mph i only got 9.5 mpg!! so i slowed it down and enjoyed the view.

i was set up with the equal-izer 4 point WD/sway control hitch. made towing a breeze, but man, they call it the squak-a-lizer hitch for a reason. very little sway at all, i am impressed with the hitch.

so last night we finally got to spend the afternoon in the trailer, let the kiddos take a bath and just run around. we are going to elephant butte lake this weekend for our first camping trip.
