Lance 815 Question

I have a 2001 Lance 815 and was wondering what in the world the two wires (green and white)at the rear passenger side of the camper are for. I'm guessing it is wired for some option that I don't have, like maybe electric jacks?

thx

The 815 has an option for pods which are used to make it a short bed camper. The pod provides storage, but more importantly parking and brake lights. There is usually a glued in 4 prong flat plug at the corner.

Right side would have brown (parking), green (turn/brake) and white (ground). Left side has brown, yellow, and white. Believe the wires are visible in the small compartment just inside the door.

My marker lights work fine right off the plug. As a matter of fact, the only power I have coming into the camper is for the marker lights and the battery charge. I tried testing to see if those wires were hot with the truck running and connected to the camper. NADA! Maybe someone with the same model and approx. year can chime in.

Green and white that I have seen are used in marker lights. Are you missing a marker light. Normally White should be the ground and green is power.

Do you have a 12 v tester.

white trailer wire to black on the multimeter.
green trailer wire to red on the multimeter tester.

+12V shows the green is positive and white is negative.
