Leaking pipe

On my new trailer I have a leaking fitting. I have contacted the salesman, but wanted to see if any one had any fixes here. It appears the leak is on the fitting between the plastic tubing and male connector for the hot water.

What would those pliers be called? Trying to find some at Lowe's of Home Depot.

Not pliers, end cutters like I said originally.

I would cut out the fitting and replace with Sharkbite or Gatorbite.
That white flex hose I would replace with a faucet supply line style fitting.
Home Depot or Lowes has it all.

Do what smkettner said....easy fix. Couple of bucks. Forget fooling with the dealer.

This..... much better to do little fixes like this yourself if you are handy. I tend to fix all these type of things myself so I know they are done right.

Don't use regular worm clamps, they can loosen up. I found out the hard way. Home Depot has simple PEX clamp tool you can but with out breaking the bank, and the clamps. Buy the tool and a package of clamps, they are easy to install. You may find you need one late at night, and you will have them. Also get a good pair of side cutter to remove the old clamps.

Do you have a pressure regulator installed?

This is leaking at the crimp -- not at the threads. If there's enough slack, cut the PEX at a nice round spot and replace the insert male adapter with a Sharkbite male adapter.

Don't dismiss the possibility that the fitting itself is cracked.

That should be a clue. . Once you get it that fixed, check all fittings you can and inspect wherever you can, to include connections at hot water tank. That should be "hot" side because it is red. Hot has a tenacity to wiggle loose before the cold IMO. Inspect wherever you can, they do come loose. Inspect all the places you can to include connection at hot water tank, toilet valve and under sinks, showers. You don't know which of the fittings will work its self loose. I mark mine with a felt tip pen, index line type of thing so the next time inspecting I could see if fitting was coming loose.

Cut the clamp. Make sure plastic is not cracked. Retighten with Teflon tape on threads. Install new SS hose clamp. I'd do both. Doesn't look like much thread holding fitting. If new dealer should fix it, but that might be more trouble than the 30 minutes it would take you to do it.
