  • Yellowstone camper for sale on Craigslist now. $750.00. Does not mention year.

  • Mark Polk of Mark's RV Garage fame, rebuilt a Yellowstone trailer of that vintage. The total demolition through rebuild is chronicled on You Tube. The first installment of the series is here. In the videos, you'll be able to see how your Yellowstone is put together.

I rebuilt a similar trailer, a '71 Starcraft. The rebuild thread is linked to in my signature line, "the Cowboy/Hilton". I retained some of the mechanical systems, including the original water system. It is all pictured and explained in the Hilton thread.

If you have particular questions post them up and they'll be answered. BTW, we all like to see pictures of these vintage trailers.
  • I Googled "yellowstone camep pull be hide its 1977" - got a link to your post. Must be a one of a kind.
  • you wllnot lilkely find one and what do you wnat to now?
  • I had a 1972 Golden Falcon with the compressed air fresh water system. Obviously it did not work so I just installed a 12v in line pump and all worked fine. My SIL is still using that trailer as a bunky in northern Ontario.
  • X2 about getting individual manuals for various components/appliances

That Yellowstone Trailer......didn't they use a 'compressed air' system to 'pump' water from fresh water tank thru plumbing system vs a 12V DC pump?

HERE is a 'manual exchange/request' link.

Might try requesting a manual for that Yellowstone cause if it used the air compressor system it's a bit different and would be in the manual.
  • You will not likely find a manual for that camper and even if you did, it would probably not be much help. Look at the appliances (stove, A/C, water heater, furnace, water pump, etc) and write down the brand and the model if you can. Then google them all individually to get separate online manuals for each of them. That is probably your best bet.
