hello all, in my 2006 gmc 2500 410 rear 4wd w lance 915 ive been getting around 12mpg for the past 6 yrs ,now im looking to upgrade to a 3500/f 350 maybe a diesil. just curious what kind of mileage are you getting ?? thanks pete

With the camper @ 55mph according to the computer...20.5mpg
Without the camper in town according to the computer ....26 mpg
With the camper around town according to the computer ...12.4 mpg
Maybe I should mention we drive in Florida on flat ground . When we go to the mountains an we have the mpg does change. We have 185000 miles on the truck an the last time we weighted the combo weighted in at a little over 12200pounds

Are you sure you want to upgrade? Those are pretty good numbers for 2006 with Vortec. Our 2003 6.6 Duramax SRW CC w/3:73 gears gets 17/21 mpg empty, 11.3 pulling our 30' 10,000lb travel trailer and around 12mpg with our 11.5 Western Wilderness camper. All the best, Hans

I just returned from a 2600 mile trip, and I got 12.5 MPG with a 3500 SRW Dodge Cummins diesel, and a 4000 lb Lance 1071

My 2011 2500 4X4 CC 6.6 gave me about 12 ish empty and 9.5 towing our TT which came in around 8000lbs.

I have a 3500 GMC Sierra 2006 with the LBZ we get no better than 12.5 mpg US with camper fully loaded.
