Hi RVers,

For the past 2 years, I have lost count of replacing those mini blind hold down brackets. No matter how careful we were around them, they broke easily. Does anyone have a suggestion or a better solution to this? I would appreciate the help.

Thank you

I made my replacements out of sht metal like jim baker posted, and spray painted them white to match the white plastic ones. These won't break.

I took down my mini blinds, and installed plain house hold shades. Works GREAT, and not expensive at all. Easy peazy.

I replaced all of mine with these: metal brackets

None have broken since.

If you mean the part that goes onto the wall, you can use metal brackets and rivets.

You mean the lower retaining brackets? Mine broke many years ago and I could never find replacements so they just flop but not much.

We don't have the hold downs.

When towing the trailer the mini blinds are pulled up as far as they will go on all windows. This prevents the blinds from cutting the strings as we travel.
