We just got back from a trip and have several repairs that came up. Here is the first.
The shower door is not square with the frame. The door is cocked clockwise (while looking at it from the outside) so that the lower right corner rubs against the bottom frame and tears the gasket and then the shower leaks. The door drops about 1/8" or maybe a little more from left to right. I have to lift up on the handle to close the door. It went back to the dealer under warranty but the problem continues.
The trailer is a 2018 25Y Arctic Fox and the shower is made by SEA.
Here are the solutions I can think of:
1. I have directions on how to disassemble the frame and square it. I would have to essentially move the left part of the shower enclosure back into its frame and then reassemble while drilling new holes for the screws. The glass would have to be freed from its caulk to allow movement. I am reluctant to do this because I am afraid of causing more problems.
2. I could insert a washer or two on the bottom pin which the door rotates on. That might raise the door enough to clear the right lower corner. I might them have to apply a shower sweep to the inside of the door frame to prevent leaking at the lower right.
Has anyone else addressed this problem or have any suggestions?
