Hello Our There,

My first time on this forum, and I'm new to travel trailers. Is anybody familiar with the Monaco Mckenzie Medallion 31BWS trailer? I heard that Monaco had some trouble with their products.

Thanks!

Is it Aluminum sided or Fiberglass? In 2000 Monaco was still in half decent financial shape. They were producing some quality units. The starwoods came out about 2005-06. I have heard some horror stories about the early units. If your trailer was well taken care of it should be okay, but it is still a 13 year trailer so there will be wear issues. Good luck enjoy your camper.

Just a guess, but Back Window Slide. I do know that the S means slide

Actually. We just bought this 2000 Monaco McKenzie Medallion 31BWS. Appears to be in excellent condition with no water damage. The dealer resealed the roof, so that should help in the future. Hope we didn't buy something that will give us problems down the road. Anybody else experience this trailer from 2000? Anybody know what the 31BWS means?

Had a Monaco McKenzie Starwood. It self destructed. No one could stop the water infiltration. I replaced almost half of the interior walls before getting rid of it. Black mold under all the panels I replaced. They would not stand behind their product and help me in any way. Saw other McKenzie's at campgrounds and saw a lot of the same delamination problems. Would never look a another Monaco product whether it is Holiday Rambler, or a McKenzie. Just being honest.

No, but welcome to the forum. Look up recalls under your make and model.
