We will be picking up our new Ar-One 15RB on 5/14 when we go up to ND to see the Moms. We will be towing it with our 14 Flex, NA. I am thinking about a W/D hitch but will wait until after we hook the trailer up for the first time. If we need one it will be a PS49901 with sway control which will be shipped to my nephews shop and installed prior to us coming home. We will let you know how it all worked out when we get home to East TN around 6/2 or 3.

BigSky,
I installed the W/D today and like what happened. With the tongue level the coupler height came in at 19.75". I set the ball height at 20.5". With the W/D chains set on the 3rd link I lost .5" of ride height on the rear and gained about the same on the front. The vehicle ride is so close to stock/unhitched you can not see the difference. The short drive back to the MIL's seemed much nicer than before the W/D and this is with 12-15 gallons of fresh and a full propane tank.

p.s.
This is not our first rodeo. We did 30,000 miles in our Class A in a little under a year looking for our retirement home.

We've had our AR-One 15rb for about 3 years, and love it. I went to a WD Hitch, only because I was nervous about too much tongue weight on the Tahoe. The trailer has the strangest weight distribution, like a wheel barrow; With water, battery, bedding, food, our tongue weight was about 650 lbs. If you stand back and squint at the trailer, you'll realize ALL the heavy stuff is in front of the axle, and really no way to balance it out... hence my much beefier WD hitch for peace of mind.

Other stuff, I had the axle flipped to give greater ground clearance. Added a strip of LEDs as a porch light up under the awning. Put in a small medicine cab in the bathroom (where that stuck on mirror was.) Added a storage box to the tongue. Installed another storage hatch on the side for better access under the dinette seat.
OEM Chinese tires are marginal at best, so start considering going to 14" LT tires (like Yokohama Y356). ALWAYS keep the tire pressure correct!

My only final word of advise would be to never leave your awning open all night, or when a storm is approaching you. It will lift up and destroy stuff. Don't ask me how I learnt that!

Also, check out the AR-ONE forum for owners. We're there too. Have fun!

We picked up the 15RB yesterday morning and spent our 1st night in it. It is a lot smaller than our previous diesel pusher but it does fit the bill. We spent the day with Mom, a little bit of time installing 3M Commander hooks around the interior and tucking things here and there. We should be all dialed in by tomorrow night aside from building and installing shelves and brackets for the TV and Direct receiver. We are glad we bought this little hotel room on wheels as it sure beats the heck out of some of the places we stayed on our way from East Tennessee to North Dakota.

Have a 2011 15RB and all has been good. Needed to make a few mods to make the unit a little more usable for myself. You can see my mods at AR-One 15RB Mods

Bet of luck with your AR-One. We have the 17RD and love it.
