Traded my 2012 6.7 F250 for a 2014 Ram 6.7 3500 SRW yesterday. Wanted the additional payload and the much nicer ride and nicer interior is a bonus. My F250 had power to spare, but I was pushing the limits on my pin weight. I hope the new Ram pulls the camper as well! Are you Ram guys pleased? Been many moons since I've driven a Dodge.
Did you get the factory hitch package, with the 5 holes in the bed with the cord plug in inside the bed? If so most guys on the Cummins forum just get the picture frame adapter and mount their hitches to it just fine with newer 5er's with the rounded caps. I'd give your old hitch a try before buying a new one.
On edit Thanks for the photo. Sweet looking truck :B I saw it's twin in town today. We looked like a pair of salt and pepper shakers parked at the restaurant.

Nice looking truck. I am kind of partial to all black.

Mine is the 68 tranny. I'm a little concerned about the hitch. I did not use a slider in the 6'6" Ford bed. This bed is 2" shorter and I'm not sure where the hitch will mount up in the bed exactly. I don't really want a slider but I don't want to regret not having one either!
Congrats on your new truck ! Heck yeah. My Ram is a beast. Pulls great, stops great, and looks great !
Enjoy !
