New Weight Distribution Hitch

After having a W/D hitch failure I bought and installed a new W/D system.
I installed this: Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs hitch wt.

I had a round bar system with chain adjusters and this time I wanted something more secure. This hitch has clips that hold the bars where they insert into the head. The leveling clips bolt securely to the A frame of the trailer.

It took a few hours to get it adjusted correctly. It leveled out the truck and trailer perfectly.

The test tow went great it tows fine and when the side wind was blowing it did not seem to wander at all.

I like it a lot.

What type of hitch failure did you experience? What brand failed?

Glad it's working out for you...
I looked at one when I was hitch shopping for our soon to arrive trailer.
It looked very similar to the very popular Equal-i-zer system.
