Park model homes need advice

Who is building good quality park model homes. I am looking for something that is more like a home than a trailer in appearance. What do i look for to find a good one. Anything i should know? I will be full time in the trailer. Moving only once or twice in its life time if ever. Any experiences you care to share would be greatly appreciated. it looks like a lower cost alternative to buying a real home. and some look much nicer than a single wide trailer. please share any information you have to help a newbie.

Go to a modular home builder and start there, one of the more popular in Canada is Moduline.I believe the parent company is American owned.

Brand wonโ€™t matter muchโ€ฆ get the best insulating package with thermo pane windows, and roof overhang on all 4 sidesโ€ฆ

When I order mine it will be equipped with holding tanks, 12v water pump and some 12v lighting, and inverterโ€ฆ

If you are going to live in it and there is any chance of changing locationsโ€ฆ

Depending on the location some CGโ€™s require holding tanks and the 12 v is only for emergency use without being forced to use a generator for short term power outagesโ€ฆ
Love my mass produced, entry level, built by Lazy American Workers, Hornet

I have a Skyline and it has been great. Good insulation. Lots of windows, central air, a loft, shingled roof, full sized appliances. Mine is 10 by 36 and must be moved by a dealer. I think this is the best option for me. I rent a seasonal site in Wisconsin and use it year round.

Knopf seems to be well put together, remember at the end of the day they are still trailers...
