Pedestal Table in TT

Hi, I just got a new Heritage Glen TT. Since I got it the pedestal table moves all over the place and feels very loose. I tightened up the screws on both mounting plates and its still very loose. Any ideas what could be wrong and how to remedy this problem? It's a real pita when everyone is sitting around trying to have a meal together. Thanks

I had the same issue w/ my new TT back in 4/2011. The dealer said "oh, they are all that way". They are not all that way. The vertical post needs to driven further into the the mounting rings (top or bottom or both). I was hesitant to start pounding on the table top but as the post slid further into the rings the table firmed up solid and has not loosened since. Hope that helps.

The vertical posts are friction fit into the floor and table receivers and will work lose with travel & use. Take a campground directory or large phone book and slam it on the table above each of the pedestals. Do this when needed.
