The folks in the Folding Trailer forum have started a fun topic, so I thought perhaps we could do the same. I'll start.



Our 2005 Starcraft Travelstar 21SSO, last year at the LaSalle-Peru KOA.

I was looking to tow my 3000 boat in the warmer months and my ATV trailer in the winter months. Though getting another full sized PU would be more versatile.

we almost bought a Ridgeline for a new tow vehicle. but a couple of things nixed it.

one, the 5000lbs. tow capacity, meant we had no room to move up in the future. it limited us to a 19' or smaller trailer.
second, Honda's recommending to NOT use a WDH.
to me, that's insane if you can't and it really limits what you can tow.
it tells me that they don't really think of it as a capable tow vehicle.
at least, not for full-height trailers.

How do you like the Ridgeline? I've been thinking about one for a while but don't know anyone with real world experience.

it's a 2001 25C MS. I think it's 25 closed up, and looks (is) bigger once open. the second door is just a second door to the main trailer. the bathroom is in the middle. The thing I like best about it is you can have one adult couple on one side, and one on the other side, and not hear each other snoring. 😄

It seems really big while using it, but pulls and stops nicely with my F150. (Much better than I thought it would)

This is our 2002 Palomino Stampede S-17. It's a fixer-upper with water damaged floor and the previos owner used it to go to dog shows. (Needs Lots Of Cleaning!!!) I am a carpenter so I think I can repair it without too much trouble. Wish me luck.
