My Forest River trailer has the circuit breaker mounted under the rig right next to the switch. My problem was that the switch is not protected from wheel spray and the switch was intermittent. I cleaned the switch using WD40 (the WD stands for water displacement) and installed a box around it to minimize future spray issues. The front one doesn't get as much spray from the tow vehicle.
