Thanks for all the advice, I really appreciate the info and will keep it as level as possible. I know there will be more questions and will be back for more help thanks to you all. We just got back from our first maiden trip to Galveston. We loved it and will be getting ready for our next one. Thanks again !!

We will plug in the frig with shore power a couple days before heading out. Start filling it up and we're ready to go.

Our fridge has been ON for 7 yrs....except for 3-4 times a year when we defrost it

As 'ChooChooMan74' posted........RV needs to level

Reasonably/comfortably level when operating fridge (and slide-outs).
Off level causes a disruption in the gravity flow necessary for fridge coolant flow.
Off level will cause damage..the damage is accumulative until it causes a blockage and then fridge DIES. Damage from off level operation is permanent.

Traveling with fridge ON is OK causes the motion of the RV keeps coolant moving.

Like I said........our fridge has been ON for 7 yrs.
Is it time for your medication or mine?

Level is the key. Out of level, it won't work well and could damage it.
