Wanting to buy new truck with a lot of options I probley don't need like moon roof sony single c/d/hd/sync service navigation and more. I usually hold on to a truck for about 10 year some things will be out dated by then. How will this effect trade in price. The price of this truck is very good now. f150 lariat 6.2/3.55

I don't think it will matter on those options after 10 years.
As said, the overall shape of the truck will be the main factor.

It will bring you a bit more when you get ready to sell/trade in 10 years...but not alot. The value will be in the mileage, overall physical & cosmetic condition. Obviously, a vehicle that doesnt have alot of wear & tear, shiny paint, good tread on the tires and a clean interior free of rips, tears and stains will be what brings you the most when it comes time to dispose of them.

When I was selling cars, most of the time on a older model vehicle, unless it was just in pristine shape, we would sell it to a wholesaler and let them put it on their lot. Rationale was that things will start to break and then the customer will be back causing a big stink. It was more of a headache than it was worth. Also, alot of times it was impossible to get financing on a 10 year old auto, so we would have had to have someone wanting to buy it with cash in hand.

based on inflation of the yen against the euro you will lose $862 per popular option not take at the time of purchase over a 10 year timeline.
