Thinking of getting a rhino liner roof installed on my travel trailer I've seen an ad in the trailer life magazine for a company that comes to your house and does it on site I was just wondering if anybody tried this product and this company out and how did it work and how did you like it I talked to the sales rep two days ago and I'm trying to find out something about his company it sounds like they don't take anything off your roof data spray around it would like your opinions REBOB23

You are more than welcome to use "as seen on facebook" shucksters, I for one feel that once your roof has expired it is time to replace rather than attempt bandaid fixes.

You wouldn't ever think about coating your house roof shingles to fix a leak, would you?

Nothing you can roll, brush, spray, dip on will ever be as good as a NEW roof..

Yeah the money I "saved" cost me big time INSIDE my TT, I had rebuilt mine many years ago with all new paneling and ceiling material.. The leaks from the failed bedliner ruined the ceiling in the bathroom and the living/dining area.. Ruined the paneling in our master bedroom..

Can no longer buy matching ceiling material and the bedroom paneling, well lets just say I have to remove all the overhead cabinets which were built in place by me. Hundreds of Dollars in materials and several hundred hrs worth of my labor..

Being cheap up front CAN cost you more than you "saved" down the road.

If the roof is shot, REPLACE IT NOW, the money spent up front will in fact save you from considering scrapping the trailer down the road..

Makes me sick every time I see that discolored ceiling and wall paneling.

As noted above you may want to consider RV Armor. If you are interested in DIY consider EPDM Liquid Roof for RVs.

You really want to get this right.

Good luck,

Not "Rino" but Herculiner..

READ HERE

Looks a bit like a mixed bag of results for bedliner as a roof coating..

My own experience using bedliner on a fiberglass roof were an epic fail. The bedliner simply stretched enough to rip due to the extreme expansion/contraction of the existing fiberglass underneath.

I ended up contacting my local RV centers to see what it would cost to get a roll of TPO roofing.. NONE would order it :M

BUT, I did have one place mention a product called PEAL AND SEAL which is what they use to replace RV roofs..

You can buy it HERE and runs about $120 per roll which is 36" x 33' and ships regular shipping methods.

Took three rolls to cover my 26Ft TT..

You will have to overlap the material and it IS EXTREMELY STICKY so you only get ONE CHANCE to lay it down.

Did mine last spring and so far has survived very well through this winter (checked for leaks a few weeks ago).

Do yourself a favor, either replace your roof with new roofing or try the Peal and Seal, bedliner belongs on a truck bed..

Your money, spend it however you like.

It's been a couple of years since I saw a RV review of a rhino liner roof. The person was very unhappy with the installation and that it actually increased the inside temperature instead of it being cooler inside as they claim. The problem with the installation was that while he got it done at a certified Rhino Liner dealer they were not a Certified Rhino Liner RV roof dealer. The poster only found that out after he called Rhino Liner to complain. If you're going to get a Rhino Liner roof done call the company and get a list of their Certified RV Roof installers. There aren't that many, at least a few years ago.

Name of company would help if you are looking for recommendations. Google RV Flex Armor for roof resurface.
