We are considering purchasing one of these, specifically the 2507.
Does anyone have any input as to the quality etc of these units?
Thanks

Sorry for bumping this old thread to the top but was asked to let you know.

We did buy the Rockwood Mini Lite 2507 and will be picking it up the first of March. We are excited about the coming travel year and have several locations booked already. The trailer is still at the dealers, we could have picked it up at purchase, the first of Feb, but saw no reason to de-winterize it for the walk-through then re-winterize it and let it sit in the driveway till the first part of March.

First of March will be the walk-through then they will keep it a few days to adjust it to our observations then we will be off and running again.

Happy traveling to all in 2019

You can get a good one, a total POS, or something in between, like any other brand made.

Some specific issues to look for with Rockwood.

1 - Fresh water tank supports. The tank has been known to sag, or pop out completely due to the weak supports. I had read awhile back they changed / revised the supports. The last ones I looked at at shows and on dealers lots over the last few months, still had the same weak supports that were on our 2015.

2 - Leaks at exterior lights and other wall mounted items including windows. They quit using butyl tape and use closed cell foam gaskets. They suck.

3 - Over tightened screws on Fender skirts and front lower skirts which cause them to crack eventually.

4- If you get the maxxair vent covers installed by the factory they'll install them during the build and mash them into the sealant around the vent while it's still green. Not a question of if they'll make the vent leak but when.

5- Rockwood warranty support is better than most. They'll actually send you parts or reimburse you for misc repairs as long as you document it correctly. They actually sent me new fender skirts long after the warranty was expired.
Too many geezers, self appointed moderators, experts, and disappearing posts for me. Enjoy. How many times can the same thing be rehashed over and over?

We had one some years back, a 189 iirc. Very nice layout that was great for shorter trips for the 2 of us and our dog.

As to quality, they are about like all the others. Condensation in cold weather/not a lot of insulation, a worker taking a shortcut now and then (ours was someone in a hurry to plumb the toilet leading to a leak in the fresh water feed while on the road)...etc. But again, nothing you cant say about any other TT in this category. I'd buy one again if it fit my needs.
