The slide on my 2000 coachmen is misaligned when i press the switch to open the slide at about 3/4 of the way it'll pop then one side will slide out and the slide will get crooked. i checked the gears and there are no broken teeth just look a little worn on one spot. Is there an adjustment on the beams i can do myself? Any info on this is appreciated
Thanks

Looks like i got the slide out fixed. I adjusted a screw that was on the beam and it seems to be working fine. I opened and closed the slide out about 10 times and it worked perfectly.
Thanks for the info it saved me from taking my tt to a dealer.

It really sounds like one of the little gears lost a tooth but it could also be a shear bolt has broken.
When mine broke it only lost the "nut" end and the rest of the bolt remained. This allowed the shaft to turn just a little bit in the gear and make the slide go in and out uneven.

I am not familiar with Coachman per se, is the slideout made by Lippert, is it their rack and pinion setup? That is what I have on our Keystone Challenger. Lippert has a "field fix that will take care of the problem temporarily. If this sounds like your problem send me a pm, I have more information direct from Lippert.
