Yes, any moving part on your RV needs attention, grease, oil, every now and then. I purchased a spray can of slide-out lubricant that you spray on the tracks and moving parts of the when I purchased my camper. I've applied it twice in the last 12 months. Easy to do, just spray on and go! Any RV dealership should stock this stuff.
