Solaire 190X, TV mounting locations

Recently purchased a Solaire 190X. Unit comes with a 19 inch flat screen, but I'g not really found a good location to try and mount it. Coax, and RCA outputs are on the back of a cabnit just to the right of the door. Simply setting it on the table would work for temp use, however as the area is in the path of getting the mattress in and out of the front teny area it seems impractical.

Anyone else tried to tackle this?

Ideas, Photos, welcomed.

Unfortunately, on the 190x, the wiring plugs are in a different location. As you enter the door, there is a cabinet on the immediate right, with a lower drawer, and the stereo/dvd player above. The TV could be placed on the cabinet/nightstand, however we would have to take it down and store it for travel. A wall mount may work, however I have some concerns about clearance issues with the tents and mattress when stored.

Hi Harmanrk,

I have never been in a Solaire just as a disclaimer. I did lookover some photos and I am thinking you may want to consider a full motion mount (one that has both side to side and up and down movement on a swing arm. Look through different types of RV TV Mounts here.)

Then I would mount it to that wall above the cabinet on the right of the door when you enter. Using the plywood mounting surface idea shown in these tv mount installation photos. Basically you use whatever type of fastener you think is appropriate for the wall material along with adhesive to mount the plywood. This gives a rigid surface to put up the tv mount. From there I think you could view it from almost anywhere in the RV. You may have to reroute some cables but that shouldnt be too much of a chore all things considered.

Just a thought, I wish you the best of luck!
