Solar question

Hello and thanks in advance for any info. I just picked up my 2015 Nash 25c to replace my 2010 22h! (Which is for sale!) I had the dealer install two 6v batteries and roof mount a Zamp 100 watt panel. I would like to add another portable 100w array. I know that the controller is currently maxed out so here is the main question. Can I get another array with a controller built in and set up a simple plug outside near batteries? I've been trying to find an answer but haven't been able to! So far I'm loving the extra space and although I was worried about the extra size, it is hardly noticeable compared to previous trailer. I'm hitting the road in acouple months for an extended trip and looking forward to it. Thanks again in advance, Matt

The Grape solar 100W panel from Home Depot with free shipping is still a good buy. Pick the controller of choice from any number of online sellers and you have your portable panel ready to go.

Thanks for the response. I looked for that setup but it is not $270! I'm glad that I can just add another array though. I'll look around.

Must be in high demand/short supply on Amazon. I purchased on Amazon in mid August for $262 delivered.

Here's a link to Renogy direct.

It goes on sale occasionally and should be available on Amazon for similar again soon. It's a great setup w/ really good reviews. I'm happy w/ it.

I have 260w on the roof which is more that adequate when the roof sees sun... I also have an external outlet for a portable panel. As the external outlet is separate from the controller in the trailer I will pick up a 100w panel with a controller mounted on the back side of it for those times when I can't park in the sun. It will also be nice to have the portable panel for the electric trolling motor battery.

Eco-Worthy has some good prices on portables.

Yes you can!! I have this Renogy 100 watt suitcase with separate built in controller. It works well with the roof top solar on my TC and TT. It is quite interesting to see it gain 4 Amps by pointing it at the sun vs laying flat!!! Amazon for about $270, free shipping!!
