Suspect Wheel Alignment Issue

Hi folks,
One of the tires on my 28' TT appears to be wearing on the outside more than the others, so going by what I have read, I'm starting to wonder if I have an alignment issue. My questions are: where does one take a travel trailer for a wheel alignment; approximately what would it cost and what do they do if they find a mis-aligned axel or axels, how do they fix it?

Spring bushings could be shot, spring hangers bent or welded in wrong spot, spring issue, loose wheel bearing, worn shackle(s)... A number of different possibilities. I suggest spend a few bucks and go to a frame & axle shop with TT experience for an inspection and diagnosis.

I have had 2 new trailers in recent years a 2006 and then upgraded in 2010. Both came with bent axles. the Symptom was excessive wear on the inside of one or four tires.

The 06 had torsion axles thus the repair was to replace an complete axle. A $700 fix out my pocket,

The 2010 has twin straight axles with leaf springs. That was an alignment job at a Truck and Trailer repair shop in the Twin Cities. It was a $200=300 fix which was covered by the dealer as a warranty issue. That surprised me as warrantys usually don't cover axles. I got lucky with a good dealer.

I had a friend who bought a new trailer in 06 also and it had a bent axle and needed alignment. Seems to be a common problem.

Is there any way that I can tell if something is out of whack, other than the tire wear?

Find a truck trailer shop that has the capacity. Usually around $100-150 US dollars per axle. If only one is showing problems, I would bet tou have a bent spindle. If thats the case, new axles can run 200 up
