The View from Your Trailer -- let's see 'em!

There used to be a thread on the truck camper forum -- "A Camper with a View" or something like that. It would be great if us TT folks could have our own version of that. The rule was that the photo had to include a portion of the door frame or window frame, so that it was clear that the photo was taken from the trailer itself.

(Feel free to break that rule, since there is no way of enforcing it. And who needs rules, anyways? Also, I admit this is asking a lot -- how are you going to produce new photos taken from your trailer, when camping season is at an end? Maybe we will get more participation next summer . . . . )

Anyway, I'll start the game: We got back a few weeks ago from a month of (mostly) boondocking and dry camping in Utah's Uintas, Idaho's Boulder Mtns. and the Salmon Valley/Sawtooths, Nevada's Great Basin National Park, and the Eastern Sierra. I am still struggling with my blog entries for each of those places. But here are my "door shots" from that trip.

This is not far from Washington Lake, Utah. Those are Bald Mtn. and Reid's Peak, each about 12,000 feet. We were camped at 10,000 feet:

Let's see if we can revive this thread!!

This shot was taken in late September of 2019 in the Humboldt Toiyabe National Forest -- that's Mono Lake on the left, and Boundary Peak on the horizon. This was the view from our table -- you can see the window frame:

Interesting. I just clicked on the "full size image" link, and the photo as posted on the hosting site is much sharper and more detailed than the photo that shows up on this forum. I guess the photo posting app reduces the resolution quite a bit.

(This photo makes it look much more rugged and adventurous than it really was. We had cold rain one day, heavy snow for a couple of hours the next day, and the rest of the week was cool and partly cloudy.)

I did not know there was a campground in Monument Valley. I must go. Where is this campground?

Oops, Monument Valley is in Utah...The campground in the picture is about mile or so from the entrance to Monument Valley. The name of the park is Gouldings Monument Valley campground and rv park. It was a nice park with friendly staff and overflow parking for our enclosed car hauler.
