I thought I would add a little for the next guy.
2018 Ram 3500 4WD Crewcab
There are 2 versions of these for the Ram 3500 (TDR3500CA) and (DRTT3500D).
I installed Timbren DRTT3500D version as it is for truck campers and snow plow type use. The other version I previously installed on my wife's 2016 2500 and it works great for pulling a GN trailer some. I did leave the "Puck" off of hers for a little better-unloaded ride. We have seen no rough ride issues on her truck at all.
I installed the "Puck" on my truck. Timbrens as far as I am concerned is the very first thing you should install if you are going to carry any weight in the bed or towing. Work every penny. My wife's Timbens were $217 for her 2500 and mine were $317 for my 3500.
The install time is seriously like 20 minutes from the time you crawl under the truck until complete (if you're organized and somewhat mechanically inclined). My 13y/o could have installed them. The local RV place wanted 2.0 hrs in labor charge and only if I purchased them from them at about $50 more, what a joke.
Edit: Torklift D2124 / D3109
The Torklift Tie install (Rear/front) was also easy once you got it all sorted out. The instructions are not very good and they claim this is a straight bolt on a bit I had to enlarge one pre-drill hole on each rear frame mount and play with the fitment some on the front ones. The install was on a new truck so the nuts and bolts all came off pretty easy. If they had been rusted on it would have been a little more difficult but not much. The RV dealer wanted 3.5hrs.......
The rear tie-down really is straightforward except for having to drill the one hole larger because the plate hole was too small. The first rear (passenger side) took me 40 minutes because of the hole and never doing one before. The rear driver side took me 15 minutes.
The front driver side took my 30 minutes because of the very close proximity to the fuel tank and wiggling it around to make sure no bolt would rub on it. There is one bolt plate with the nut already welded on, there should be all 4 already welded on but there is not. The one that is welded on is that way to make sure you do not get into the fuel cell. There is metal the spacers on the bottom of the frame rail mount. The 5th bolt is into the bed frame area up top. Like I said there is a learning curve to this side. The passenger side front tie down install took maybe 15 minutes.
I put blue loctite on everything and torqued the nuts down. I did use an air and electric impact driver and such which speed things up greatly.
