Have been really looking at some nice 2500 and 3500 express vans. Tons of room and stout drive train. Just wondering who out there tows with one?? And do any come with full towing packages?? Or do you have to add hitch and 7 pin? Any have built in brake controller like pick ups??
Thanks for any insight.

I have an off-rental. Needed to add hitch, brake controller, and 7 pin connector. I installed the brake controller (P3) at right knee next to engine cover. I then had RV shop wire.

Makes a great tow vehicle.

I have a 3500 Express (Always have van for towing) - Used to tow a 6000? lb TT - did quite well; Lots of grunt from the V8 - stout transmission and brakes - the long wheelbase help with stability.

I had to add the hitch, Tekonsha controller and 7-pin connector-

I currently have 4,000 lb TH - it's hard to tell that the trailer is back there;
Personally I love vans as you can take all the toys and keep them under lock and key.
