Ha, I just realized you are the same guy asking about the dinette..
๐Okay, you are buying something the guy has on the lot.. You have every right to ask about making changes to that unit, but it's going to cost you to do it..
Plain and simple..
๐If you want specific things for your RV, you have to special order it and that's gonna take time and probably cost more than the same unit that the dealer has on the lot..
The dealers motivation is to sell what he has on the lot.. It's costing him money to have that unit on the lot.
If you like the unit, but want changes made to it, it's gonna cost you..
I wouldn't just give you all the things you want for the sticker price, unless it was negotiated before hand.
When I bought my TT in 2002, it was all that I wanted, but it didn't have A/C... I wanted A/C and I needed a WD hitch setup..
I negotiated those requests in the deal and they came back with a price that was acceptable to me and we shook hands on it..
This was AFTER I walked out of their office laughing at their initial offer and I later left a VM message with an offer and they called me back with a counter offer that I liked and then the deal was made..
๐Anyway, it depends on how much $$ the dealer is going to make on the deal.. Or not making the sale.. If he can't sell the unit to you, he'll wait for the next guy..
Or, if he's desperate, he'll make a deal..
Good luck!
Mitch
