This trip is from a couple years back and I finally got around to making a video from all the footage. We stayed at the Fidalgo Bay RV Resort with friends (shady characters) and had a great weekend at the Anacortes Waterfront Festival. We saw a Corvette car show, went on a sailboat, and watched a boat race of boats hand built that day at the festival specifically for the race. A lot of fun to watch the race which is the second half of the video. Great weekend with Critters and Scenery, Corvette Show, Sailing, Boat Building Contest, and Boat Race.

I just remembered Baker City Rally. Need to check that date.

I always try getting away between shackles of my work schedule. More 3-5 day trips for us this year instead of one big one. The casino on the coast is no longer free due to few that abused the welcome. We'll start crossing the mountains in late April in search of more sun and by Cinco we'll be sipping in the vineyards.

Glad you guys are getting out. We're looking at weekend getaways. The Tulip Festival and PACCAR Tech Center open house in April staying at Deception Pass, then Ocean shores for the Kite Festival May 5th. Not sure where to stay yet but casino option is pretty unbeatable. Just don't know proximity distance between festival and casino. This could be a tough year to camp because I'm just starting a big project. I'll have to use the opportunist method to get out camping.
