I looked at a 2017 Wildwood 27RLSS last Saturday and really liked it. The weight is in my range. The layout is perfect. The price is decent. Any experience with Wildwood TT's?

I sold my old motorhome and everything worked on it. It was a 1990 model but, never let us down save one flat tire. I hear people buying new RVs and having all kinds of major and minor issues. I don't get that. I had an old dog that gave me great service for 8 years. Yea, there were a few repairs but, nothing that ever put a dent in any trip or was worth stressing over. Are they just made that sorry these days?

We have a 2015 Wildwood 31QBTS( I think i'm right on the model #'s) Layout is perfect for us. We have had several major problems, and one catastrophic, and tons of tiny problems. We use it a lot. 2 vacation trips and 10 + camping trips. Last fall we used it once in the fall and did not discover a new problem. That was the first time that happened. If I could run away from the trailer I gladly would, but my hope is now that the major things have hopefully worked themselves out and won't lead to more major problems. I personally will not purchase another wildwood product. That's my story, i'm sure there is plenty of people that are happy with theirs.

Just from a walk-thru it seems like a really nice unit for the price. I have been RV-ing since 1989 and Have fixed a lot of leaks in plumbing and in the roof. But, I sure don't want to buy a brand new camper only to find out it's a poorly made hunk of junk that I have to make payments on and bust my knuckles on all the time.

I just bought one. Have only had it out for one trip so far. I had to clean out the shavings and metal chips that landed in the as-mounted ceiling speakers. The sound quality went from bad to great. I had to re-attach one piece of trim.

It is a little hard to park in my driveway as it is long and my space is limited, but that is my problem.

We just bought a 2017 Wildwood. 🙂 My opinion is that it is the trailer that is going to work for us for now. It was in our price range, sleeps all of us (8) comfortably, and is light weight enough for our vehicle. We were supposed to pick it up today but alas our tow vehicle is in the shop getting new ball bearings and brakes and more... so tomorrow it is.

That is what we said last year when we bought our new 2016 Wildwood.
Today, I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole !

Ours is the lemon of lemons! If I made a list of all the slip shod work and stuff that I repaired myself, it would shock you.
We have had seven pipes come apart at seven different times, and tomorrow after much anguish the tech from the dealer where we bought it has finally got the OK from the Forest River head honchos to repipe the trailer. He will be removing the shower stall to get to some of the connections.

Here is one for the books; after our walk through and we hauled it to our site, we noticed the bathroom door wouldn't close. in looking at it, it was striking the side door frame molding that was sticking out at the bottom. When I pulled it out a little more, I found it to be loose all the way up to the striker plate. I took the two screws out of the striker plate, and the entire piece fell out, the overhead piece fell down and the opposite side door frame fell off. -Fixed it myself.

I shudder to think of the mess we would be in if we were not snow birding two miles from the dealer
If you buy one, don't say you were not warned!
