What makes new windshield wiper blades chatter on a clean windshield?
There's lots of advice and information in forums...
sometimes it is correct.

Mine drove me crazy, even new wipers chattered with light rain. The blades wouldn't roll over when changing direction. I ended up tweaking the angle of the arm and it solved the problem. two adjustable wrenches and twist just a little. Don't need much.

Don't run the wipers when the windshield is dry, that's a quick fix and will make those expensive wipers last longer. Something I must have informed my wife of a hundred times.

Dry rubber on dry glass. Get some Rain-X and wipe it on the wipers and windshield if you want. Especially true in the Texas sun.
