We are replacing an electric refrigerator with a propane one in a trailer we are restoring. We are putting this trailer on a leased site with no hydro - solar panels and batteries. Anyone know how to hook up the propane refrigerator - this one has a LED screen so has to be hooked up to battery in order to light.
Are you going to run it on LP or just try to run on 12 volts DC. It will take several batteries and large wire (#6) to operate on 12 volts DC. It would be wise to run on LP and 12 volt control. Control would take around a #14 wire . Manual

The trailer currently on site is totally solar/battery powered so that is all there. We bought it on the site but are replacing the trailer and that trailer was a park model and had an electric fridge which we are replacing with the Norcold. Thanks. I will take a look at the manual and see if I can figure it out. Thanks.

It's been 30 minutes since I posted - I am not going to sit here all day and wait for answers to pop up. I have things to do and planned to check back a little later - didn't know this was a live chat forum. Give me another 5 minutes while I go check the make and model! Didn't think it was important - figured all fridges were wired the same to a main battery bank.
