Just put a set of 275/65R20's on my truck They are mud tires, but what I needed where I live and travel. I paid about $1050 plus $120 mounting and balancing from Simpletire and they will price match anybody.
Had the same thing happen to me on a 96 Bronco, they think it was the cruise control malfunctioning. Saw smoke under the hood, next thing whole frontend was gone.
