Sometimes you can get by with an 8 or 9 foot camper in a shortbed, but that campers an 11.5 footer with a slide out. Unfortunately you'll need an 8 foot bed with that one.
They may find a niche market for some of the vehicles and could be a good idea for in town delivery vehicles, but until there's a vast network of extremely fast charging systems, they'll have a very difficult time of catching on.
Had a 4.3 in a work truck back in the 90's that had 200 horse. Good solid motor but not well suited for towing. Its unbelievable the same motor in 2012 would actually have 5 HP less.
