Traveling from Gulf Shores AL to Cartersville GA (NW of Atlanta) and need to find a park along the way. We like lakes, falls, hiking, and forest type areas. We prefer state or Corps parks but can stay at a commercial park too. Any suggestions alo...

Wherever the right campground will take me. The route allows me to travel north and then east thru central and eastern AL. Not western AL.
