Park in AL

Traveling from Gulf Shores AL to Cartersville GA (NW of Atlanta) and need to find a park along the way. We like lakes, falls, hiking, and forest type areas. We prefer state or Corps parks but can stay at a commercial park too. Any suggestions along the way would be appreciated. 38' motorhome with 4 slides.

Wherever the right campground will take me. The route allows me to travel north and then east thru central and eastern AL. Not western AL.
