I see several online sites wherein I can pay a fee and advertise. Does anyone have experience with this sort of marketing? Any recommendations on finding an online service that might reach the desired vintage trailer market? Thank u!Re: 2003 fiberglass TC not looking so good …now what?Wow! That’s is interesting. Will definitely look into that. Thank u JimK-NY wrote: Get a scotch kitchen pad and some bar keepers friend or bon ami. Scrub off the old oxidation. If the surface is still white, you are in luck. Prepare the entire surface, then apply several light coats of Zep acrylic floor finish. You should end up with a decent shiny finish that will last for years with minimal upkeep. 2003 fiberglass TC not looking so good …now what?My 2003 BigFoot truck camper is all fiberglass. The exterior has really started to denigrate… (when it rains the windows get white steaks from the chalk like fiberglass powder runoff) I see so many wax type products advertised. Would like to know if anyone can offer a recommendation as to how to get it cleaned properly and what wax or other product can I apply to improve the appearance etc… Thanks a million!Re: Hurricane IAN & My Jayco Eagle TT - Manual Crank Slides???9/30 Thank you for the reply. Will investigate the hex nut and or motor break options if the slide motors are trashed from the high waters. Will know in the next couple weeks. Thank you ???? But hopefully they will be OK when you get there. Hurricane IAN & My Jayco Eagle TT - Manual Crank Slides???9/30/22 RE: post hurricane Ian My 2007 Jayco Eagle was flooded in the hurricane. I do not know yet how high the water got. In the event it reached the slide mechanisms & the trailer slides are rendered inoperable under electric power, I understand there is a way to HAND CRANK the slides. Can anyone tell me where I can get detail on how I can manually crank my slides? Thank you! Kim Naples FLRe: 2003 Bigfoot TC entry door gone catywompus / askew. Fix?Wow. That’s interesting. Will try tomorrow. Yes.- I use a bungee to hold it open & weather/wind play havoc on the door overall. Thank you. Use a thin blade putty knife to work that skin back into the frame. I had that same thing happen on a 2002 BF camper. It was caused from using bungy on lower part of door to hold door open against the upper door stop on back of camper. This twists the door and pulls the inner fiberglass door skin out of the frame. The door is hanging at an angle wherein ( from the outside ) it’s tilted downward and not closing properly at the bottom left / door base. Thusly- at the top right there is a substantial gap between the door & frame. Will try to upload more photos. Thank you for the suggestion. Will investigate. I’m having an awful time with the entry door. It’s gotten increasingly worse over the last year and now I have to TIE it closed so the door won’t pop open as I’m driving down the highway. Does anyone know if I might be able to adjust the door hinges or any other tips in order to get it to open and close as designed? I currently have to SLAM the door shut with all my might just to get it to seat so the door can be locked. Any and all tips and tricks appreciated. Thank you. Click For Full-Size Image.
