Was wondering if my 2007 dodge ram quad cab 4x4 slt will tow a 4600 lb trailer. It has 20" rims on it now and not sure what the gear ratio is. It also has the 4.7 magnum engine with a 6 speed manual trans. The trailer is a 2006 extreme rv m-24pt.
I bought a 1989 skamper 5th wheel and am not sure about the weight. one site lists it as 4950 lbs and a nother lists it at 7500 lbs. now im not sure my 2007 dodge ram 1500 quad cab 4x4 will haul it. any help would be appreciated.
Not sure what the model number is the tag on the side of the trailer said 32gw 4525 kg. its a 32' model. the truck i have is a manual trans and the 4.7L V-8.
I guess that would be the best way. if it weights at 4950 i should still bw able to haul it right? I plan on beefing up the suspension an swapping out the rear gears.
